As a lifelong Keystone Oaks district resident, and a Green Tree resident for the past 30 years, I find it a duty and privilege to continue my work in the service of our incredible community.
A local small business owner of The Zen Bee and a retired trauma burn nurse, I thrive under pressure and am passionate about helping others.
While my boys were in elementary and middle school, I was active and fully engaged in the PFO, volunteering hundreds of hours to support our children and schools. You’ve seen me on the sidelines at local soccer and football games, working the concession stand, hanging out at our beloved Green Tree swimming pool, participating at the Green Tree Farmers Market and the Octoberfest, and, for a time, working as a recess aide at Aiken Elementary, assisting teachers and staff during lunch periods.
My commitment to the community goes beyond my own family—I listen to concerns of my neighbors, advocate for meaningful change, and dedicate my time to important causes, like my #BeeWarmPittsburghInitiative campaign, where I’ve made and donated over 200 crocheted hats, scarves, and care packages for the unhoused individuals of Pittsburgh.
My desire to enter into local government comes from a growing need for a pivotal shift in the way the borough has been governed in recent years. Residents feel left out of the decision making process. Council’s purpose is to work together to make decisions that are in everyone’s best interests, and to put their neighbors’ needs and concerns before their own.
With community support, my goal is to work alongside fellow council members, regardless of their political party, to unify our neighborhood, strengthen relationships, and ensure a safe and prosperous Green Tree for decades to come.
I humbly thank you for your consideration and your vote.
