Conduct a third-party community climate assessment

Similar to the All In Allegheny community survey, spearheaded by the Sara Innamorato Administration, the Green Tree Unity Campaign members believe it is critical in assessing the current and unique needs, preferences, and ideas of borough residents. The results of the Green Tree For All community survey will be posted publicly and will inform Borough Council’s subsequent action plan.

Create a Public Action Plan with regular Community updates

Using the results from the Green Tree For All community survey and the 2024 Strategic Plan, Green Tree Unity Campaign members will advocate for an action plan that is public with regular progress updates and status reports for the community.

Review Current Policies and Procedures

Recognizing that the current Borough Council is not using industry best practices and is not seeking the advice from industry experts in areas such as communications, community engagement, wage and salary adjustments, and inclusive practices, Green Tree Unity Campaign members will advocate for a third-party review of our policies and procedures with implementation recommendations.
